Rivalling their South Sea counter part, freshwater pearls are affordable and beautiful. These pearls are slightly mis-shapen, white with a slight pink hue that compliments the skin perfectly. These freshwater peals come from the Far East. Over the past 10 years freshwater pearl culturing has been revolutionised making larger sizes affordable.
